To mark 21 years in the industry, the Equilibrium team have set the challenge to raise £21,000 for The Equilibrium Foundation. The Foundation was established back in 2010 to give something back to the community and has already raised over £100,000 to support more than 50 worthy causes.
For our 21st anniversary we wanted to do something extra special. Whilst historically we have donated money to a range of local charities and non-profit organisations, this year we have decided to concentrate our efforts on a smaller number of organisations to benefit from the amount raised.
All the Equilibrium team were involved in deciding where the money will be donated. A team-wide vote helped to select our five chosen charities:
The Equilibrium team will be taking part in a wide range of events and activities to raise the money – from bake sales and team quizzes to a large group running the 5k Colour Run at the Etihad Stadium. Other activities will include half marathons, fun runs and walks.
Following on from his fundraising achievements after cycling Geneva to Nice in 2015 for The Foundation, Equilibrium partner Jason Lowe will be attempting perhaps one of our most ambitious challenges – to cycle from London to Amsterdam, along with managing partner Colin and some other determined team members!
If you would like to support the team and help us reach our goal, then visit our Virgin Money Giving Page here. All the donations we receive are greatly appreciated and will help us to continue to ensure that we make a positive difference in our local community and beyond.
We are thrilled to announce that Equilibrium has once again been honoured with the prestigious Investors in Customers (IIC) Gold accreditation.
Client Manager, Simon Lister, and childhood friend Jon Massey complete an inspirational swim for Andy’s Man Club.
The Community support scheme continues to champion local initiatives that make a real difference to people’s lives.
