2017/18 has seen a mountain of success for Equilibrium. Most importantly, our client feedback suggests that we have delivered an outstanding service, having received an average rating of five stars on Working Feedback. We also surpassed our new assets under management target by 53% and have increased our team by 20.
The year’s events calendar was jam-packed with seminars, client briefings, investment dinners and the introduction of two new events including Social in the City Equinox Live. The line-up for Equinox Live was fantastic, it ranged from Nick Leeson, the rogue trader who caused the collapse of Barings Bank, to TV star Alexis Conran, from the BBC show the Real Hustle. We’d like to thank everyone who attended for making the event such a brilliant success, and we can’t wait for next year’s event.
In the pipeline for this fiscal year we will be creating a separate recruitment website to showcase what a fantastic place to work EQ is so that we continue to attract the very best talent to join us.
Speaking of recruitment, this year we also expanded our graduate scheme, creating the Equilibrium Diploma Academy. We now consider people from all professional backgrounds and experiences for the two-year course – all that’s required is a can-do attitude and a passion for financial services.
This year has also seen us collect a few awards along the way, including our second consecutive year in the top ten of the Sunday Times’ top 100 companies to work for. The culture at Equilibrium is a vital ingredient to the business – we know that a happy workforce is a productive workforce.
Underpinning all this success is of course our clients, and we extend our thanks to each and every one of them for placing their trust in our services. In return, we promise to always act with their future financial confidence as our top priority.
